Shenzhen No.2 senior high school is a modern large boarding public high school invested and constructed by Shenzhen, which is directly under the Municipal Education Bureau. The school is located in Xili District, Nanshan District, Shenzhen City, adjacent to Shenzhen higher vocational and technical college, with superior geographical location. The school is constructed in accordance with the national model high school standard, with a total investment of 200 million yuan, an area of 108000 square meters, a construction area of 65000 square meters, a school scale of 60 classes, and a capacity of 3000 students. The school was completed and officially opened in September 2007. Due to the high starting point of the school, the enrollment in the first year has become a hot topic of social concern, becoming one of the first schools in Shenzhen with the largest number of volunteer candidates in 2007.

In order to meet the needs of teaching development and promote the smooth development of school teaching, Shenzhen No.2 senior high school built a new round table conference room. At the same time, the original conference system of the large conference room was upgraded to further improve the conference effect and audio quality of the conference room.
